Busy Busy…..

A very nice day today, warm sunshine, a gentle breeze…..
I’ve mown the lawn, done a spot of gardening and cleared out the spring stuff from the window box, plants will go in there next month, found a plastic wall hanging container that I’ve put up on the front wall and blagged three plants from a neighbour and planted them in it…. plus had a large plateful of chicken balti for my dinner…..
All the doors are open plus some windows to air the place through so all in all a very constructive day…..

 

Curry Time…….

I’ve spoilt myself today, guts were feeling a lot better when I woke up, apart from a serious bout of flatulence, enough to heat a small town……

Set to and prepared a chicken tikka masala for my tea, always enough for two meals so the second half is for tomorrow, todays helping went down a treat with no uncomfortable after effects (yet!), trouble is now the whole bungalow smells of curry…. the price you pay for living someplace small….

It seems the old grey matter is still up to scratch, I managed to put Gemmak’s link button in the side bar and move it upwards with no problems, thanks for the emails Jane, I enjoyed the quick ‘chat’ !!

Well, it looks like I’ll have to go shopping tomorrow despite the awful weather, its rained for days now and the forecast is for days more of it, I’ve got a nylon ‘benny hat’ somewhere which will be a bit more waterproof than the wool one I’ve been using, I’ve just got to find it…..
