Me No Likee…..

Six O’clock this morning, I’d been awake most of the night….. went into the kitchen to make a coffee, grab some painkillers and refill the biscuit barrel and just happened to glance outside…..
White over and thick fog…… came back and checked the weather station, minus 7F outside, that was the last reading before the battery in the sensor died or froze!
Coffee, a few dunked digestives, pills and a peruse of them Mad Hatter type folks, then back to my nice warm cosy bed…… until just after 4pm
Its now 8pm, I’m gonna be wide awake all night and I must go shopping tomorrow….. so what the hell can I do until 10am tomorrow when I head for the bus stop??

Bloody Cold Out !!

Had to go into Scunthorpe this morning for an item I can’t get anyplace else, the bus was late, the weather is awful and has been all day, freezing fog, minus 3F, and busy….

I thought I’d get this particular bit of shopping done before the christmas rush started in earnest…. not a hope, Argos was crammed with people buying tacky plastic toys and other such junk, I waited nearly ten minutes in the queue and on getting back to the bus stop to come home the bloody bus was late yet again……

Needless to say I was bloody glad to get home…..

I’ll be having some crazy dreams tonight, something eating cheese always does to me, one of the mixes sent me by the wonderful Bill & Lorna in Ohio is a cheese and garlic mix, usually biscuits but due to space in my mini oven I made it as a ’slab’ cake…… seriously ‘more’ish stuff…… I had to force myself to put the remainder away until tomorrow or I’d have scoffed the lot in one sitting…..

Anyway, nothing on the tele worth watching yet again, you lot have a good weekend !!
